Asif Ali’s daughter was diagnosed with cancer while Asif was playing PSL

Pakistani cricketer Asif Ali’s cancer-stricken daughter has died while undergoing treatment in the United States.

Two-year-old Noor Fatima was in the fourth stage of cancer and was transferred to the United States for treatment last year.

News of Noor Fatima’s cancer surfaced during the Pakistan Super League this year when Asif’s team in the PSL, Islamabad United head coach Dan Jones, spoke about it during a press conference.

Later, Asif Ali himself had said in his message on social media website Twitter that his daughter is suffering from cancer and she is in the fourth stage.

He had said that Noor Fatima was being taken to America for treatment.

Asif Ali is currently in England with the Pakistani team and according to the Pakistan Cricket Board he is going back to Pakistan.

Apart from cricketers, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi have also expressed condolences over the death of Asif Ali’s daughter.

Imran Khan said that he condoles with the family of Asif Ali’s daughter who died of cancer and prayed that God give him the courage to bear this great trauma.

A message from Asif Ali’s team Islamabad United in the PSL on Twitter lamented the death of his daughter, saying “Asif Ali is the best example of courage and determination.”

Shadab Khan, a sniper who played with Asif Ali in the Pakistani cricket team and Islamabad United, also took to Twitter to pray for Noor Fatima’s forgiveness and patience for her family, saying that he had done more in his life than Asif Ali. The patient man did not see.
