Abandoned dog with terminal cancer travels 650 km by plane to her new foster home

The dog Ashlyn was abandoned in a shelter in North Carolina, USA, at the time she most needed care and care,,

, since she was already elderly. In the kennel, after a routine examination, it was discovered that the puppy has terminal cancer.

Before long, Ashlyn lost a lot of weight and saw her skin become riddled with sarcomas (small cancerous tumors in the epidermis)….

However, it wasn’t too late for her to make up for lost time and be happy once more. When volunteers from the NGO New England Humane Society (NEHS) ,,,

found a perfect tutor for the dog to spend the last weeks of her life, they soon began to think of a way for her to get there: it would be a trip of 650 km.

That’s when Paul Steklenski, founder of “Flying Fur Animal Rescue (FFAR)”, decided to take her on his small private plane.
